Hussein Ayoub & Tony Kiriakou Co-Chairs of Wexford BIA

Dear Patrons:

On behalf of the Wexford Heights BIA and its member businesses, we would like to extend a personal invitation to you, your family and friends to join us on the weekend of July 6th, 7th, & 8th for the 2012 Taste of Lawrence Festival. ?

The festival now in its ninth year has grown by leaps and bounds from its humble beginnings in the parking lots of local businesses. This year?s festival is sure to be another show-stopping extravaganza. Our street party will again see Lawrence Avenue East between Warden and Birchmount closed for all the festivities. Come out and be a part of the fun as we celebrate our great Scarborough community and all its wonderful diversity as showcased in the fantastic talent offered on two stages, an array of amazing artisans and of course don?t forget the incredible mouth-watering food our vendors will be serving up. ?This is 2 ? days of? non-stop, action- packed fun for the whole family you won?t want to miss and while you?re here don?t forget to check out all the unique merchants and services that make up our Wexford Heights BIA and who make the Taste of Lawrence a reality.?

We look forward to seeing you.

Sincerely,

Hussein Ayoub

Dear Friends:

Welcome to the Taste of Lawrence Festival 2012 website. Each year we transform Lawrence Avenue East into an international bazaar and entertainment centre. Since the Festival?s ??founding? 8 years ago, more than a million people have come to Toronto?s most multi-cultural neighbourhood to stroll along the Avenue, enjoy family-friendly live entertainment, taste food from around the world, and experience our city?s diversity.

You will find all the information you need to plan your visit to the Festival this summer on our website, including a schedule of the great entertainment you will see and hear this summer. If you need additional information, follow the links on the contacts page.

The Taste is getting bigger and better each year, as people from across the GTA and around the world join us at one of our city?s great cultural and culinary events. We look forward to seeing you at the Festival this July. It?s an experience you do not want to miss!
