Vending Opportunities
The Wexford Heights Business Improvement Area (BIA) extends a warm invitation to you to join us as a food vendor at the 2010 Taste of Lawrence Festival. This renowned street festival is scheduled to take place from Friday, July 2 to Sunday, July 4, 2010 on Lawrence Avenue East, from Birchmount Avenue to Warden Avenue in Scarborough.
The festival was the brainchild of Councillor Michael Thompson and was started six years ago by the Wexford Heights BIA to raise funds for local charities, the Taste of Lawrence Festival (TOL) has evolved into one of Toronto's signature events, attracting over 175,000 people from communities throughout Toronto and the GTA. They come for the food, the entertainment, the atmosphere, and to have a great time with family and friends! TOL celebrates the cultural diversity of Toronto and the GTA by showcasing the unique cuisine, music, performers, vendors, retailers and community groups that make this one of the most colourful and ethnically diverse areas in Canada.
